Mike Keily
Director
Mike has been making spectacles since 1978. He qualified as an optical technician after completing a 5-year apprenticeship. Mike then spent a few years working as a technician and managing opticians practices around London.
In 1992, Mike simultaneously launched Prospecs Eyewear and Leicester Optical. Leicester Optical supplied opticians all over the country and gained a reputation for quality work, technical expertise and problem solving.
Mike is always available in the practice to offer expert advice including on specialist lenses and sports glasses.
Teresa Keily
Director
Teresa has spent over 30 years in the optical industry working various roles. Starting out as an optical assistant, and going on to run an optical manufacturing lab for 25 years.
Teresa has an in-depth knowledge of lenses, high attention to detail and always strives to provide great customer service.
Gary Richardson
Glazing Technician
Gary has been working with Teresa and Mike for over 15 years.
Having spent a lot of time in the manufacturing process, Gary has developed an in-depth knowledge of optical prescriptions and lenses. He now plays a main role in processing orders to the highest standard.
Louise Martin
Optical Advisor
Louise has many years experience working at an opticians practice. In recent years she was working at our village competitor. We were very happy to have her join us when the other practice closed down in 2021.
Nitin Chandarana
Optometrist
Nitin graduated from the University of Bradford in 2002 and went on to complete training with Boots Opticians in Coventry.
He has worked with many independent opticians across the midlands and started providing Eye Tests at Prospecs in 2019.
Reema Raichura
Optometrist
Reema graduated from the University of Bradford in 2001 before completing her professional training with Specsavers in Coalville. Since qualifying in 2002, she has gained extensive experience working with multiple independent opticians across the Midlands.
She joined the team at Prospecs in 2022.
Sangita Sicotray
Optical Assistant
Sangita is our newest member of staff, bringing experience from an independent opticians in Leicester and a strong customer service background from her time with NEXT. She has now returned to optics with our team, where her excellent people skills are a real asset.
